It Is The History Of Item Upgrade In 10 Milestones
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades to gear increase its stats base and often increases its other features. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random augmentations used.
For instance, the premium shield of racial violence Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb ability in PvP, or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens permit you to buy a new item, like a weapon, armor or ring. The item is replaced with another of the same kind, but with different benefits. Reroll tokens can be an efficient method of upgrading equipment. They don't preserve the original equipment's condition and any wasted resources won't get compensated.
Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors through several means like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be located in crates and chests, or purchased from the store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute on a piece of equipment that could include increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.
Players can roll equipment in three aspects: physical power, spell power, and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage that melee and weapons and spell power boosts mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional level of health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available such as upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item to a higher quality, with the requirement of a higher-level reroll token in order to make it. item upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require an item that is exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
As opposed to other tokens or markers that are placed on action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the spot until the next success result is to be rerolled. This helps to prevent the waste of upgrades.
Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase and can be opened by grabbing them with Interact. Once they are open they will display a complete description and icon of the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. The restaurant's store will swap blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.
As a result, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop can offer for rerolls and those that are located in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These stones are special stones which increase the level of an item by improving its stats or characteristics. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a fee. In addition, players can get these stones by completing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment, the player must first locate the item then click the "level up button". This will display a menu that shows the item's current status and what it will be when being upgraded and the required amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Typically item upgrades (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires a single blue or green Growth Stone.
After selecting the item to upgrade the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay the cost. Once the player has met the requirements, he is able to select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level a certain percentage. The upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to several minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process also is risk-free, and does not affect the item's longevity. The system is an excellent option for players who want to gain an advantage in battle but don't want to strain their wallets. Clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item to an entirely new piece of equipment.
The process of acquiring Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be daunting for new players. There are a variety of methods to obtain these stones, such as contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that allows you to increase the effectiveness of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. It is achieved by adding upgrade components at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade components and grant the item an upgrade level, giving the item a boost in that area. This process can be repeated until the highest level of an item is reached.
Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as a blue icon beside their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components don't stack with one another, and can only be added to one item at one time. Furthermore, each upgrade component will require a specific number of items to be added in addition to an initial amount for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can place an item that they wish to upgrade. On the right side, an image of the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Once a player has enough materials, pressing the yellow arrow will initiate the upgrade process.
A piece of gear can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time it is upgraded, the base stats of an item will be increased by a small amount. The maximum level for an item is 19.
When an item reaches its maximum capacity that it can no longer have the option of upgrading. When a piece of equipment is upgraded to a certain track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be slotted into weapons, armor, trinkets, and gathering tools to give an added bonus or effect while the equipment is being used. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, acquired through questing or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so will damage the previous upgrade, except for glyphs that can be replaced and removed at any time.
Requirements
Upgrades to items enable players to increase certain attributes of armor and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item vary depending on the kind of item however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
The upgrade items can be slotted into equipment sets and weapons for added effects or a higher item level. These upgrades can be obtained through a variety of sources in the game, including crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade element is placed in an item it cannot be removed and replaced freely, however, glyphs placed in gathering tools can be swapped without restriction.
Upgrades can increase the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components have additional modifiers which can further enhance the stats of the item.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" increases base defense, and also provides an additional 20% chance to block. In addition, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases damage to weapons.
Certain items benefit from being upgraded less because of their improved stats and more because it lets players get the most value from a perfect roll on the item. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for example is highly sought-after by the melee PvP communities and could be worth as much as 20-50 times the value of an unupp'd counterpart.
The game will show you the requirements when you select the upgrade component that is incorporated into the item. The game will display the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
If you've fulfilled the conditions for upgrading, the game will place the item in your inventory and the progress bar will change to show how close to completing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by visiting any item upgrader NPC.
