A Productive Rant Concerning Item Upgrade

World of Warcraft - Item Upgrade

Item upgrade allows players to raise the item level of armor and weapons that can be equipped. This boosts the effectiveness of the equipment, in addition to sometimes adding buffs or rerolling an affix.

Rerolling a Rare item will result in a normal version of the same type, whereas the rerolling of an Epic item will result in an Elite version of the same type.

Upgraded items may have additional adjustments that can boost their performance and increase their stats. These additional modifiers don't come with the upgrade price.
